Those that are using DEF do you have any better suggestions than Peak blue? From what I have read it seems to be a good value. A delete is out of the question until warranty is gone and that will be a few years down the road.

Walmart brand Super Tech. Used nothing but it when I had my '13 F250 and '20 F250. First truck had almost 100k miles when I sold it and second one had about 60k. Never had an issue.

I have a 2017 Peterbilt with a Cummins engine. I have mostly used the Bucees def from the pump. Had zero issues Def related. Have 180,000 miles on it. I like using the bulk instead of buying the boxes.

My guess is that DEF is like motor oil, it likely has a minimum spec it has to meet and it doesn’t matter what brand you run so long as it meets spec. As mentioned above, supertech products are actually quite good, I run all of their products and have no issues.

All DEF should be like 67% water and 33% urea. Most DEF systems can detect if it has too much water or if it is contaminated. Pretty sure their is strict guidelines when it comes to the manufacturing of DEF. Unless their is some cheap stuff coming from Mexico!

Pump DEF is the simplest and most cost effective way to go.

Pump def is still hard to find in some places. It’s all the same stuff as long as it meets the proper spec. There should be a number on the bottle. I ran the cheapest stuff I could find and never had any issues.

Where are places to buy DEF at the pump? I contacted Loves truck stop and they have it for a good price per gallon but was told it is sold with a diesel fuel purchase. If that is the case, there won't be much savings as their diesel prices are 80+ cents higher than of stations around here.

I just roll up to the truck lanes at the truck stop, swipe my card and pump. At Loves sometimes I have to go in and pay a specific amount like $50 and then go out and pump whatever it takes to fill up and they credit back the difference.

I went to the Quik Trip by my house. They have DEF at the 18 wheeler pumps. However, the nozzle is too large for the DEF fill on my truck. It’s a lot cheaper, about half the cost.

QT in my town does not have 18 wheeler pumps. So I will try Bucees next time I am near one.I suppose In your case you could fill up a fresh 5-gallon container and then put into your truck.
