Went yesterday and if you are going the GW's were there doing boat inspections training a new guy. Did a through check so make sure you have everything in order if you are going there. They were very cordial but they were doing a good job. I also counted 41 rigs in the lot as I was launching.

Fishing was slow until I ran into one guy that was catching a few. Not going to give away his technique as he shared it with me but it turned my day around. Only had one fish for four hours of fishing but after he shared I caught eight my last hour of fishing. Typical Fayette two to three pounders with a 6.2 kicker. Another big shout out to this guy if he reads this even though I thanked him as I left.

I was at Oak Thicket on Wednesday. Doesn't anyone work anymore? The parking lot was full! I didn't get there till 11:30 and did some boat riding just to run the motor. Fished from 12 to 2 and caught 15. No big ones, biggest was about 3 pounds, most were pound and a half. But they were fun. I do get to buy a new depth finder for the console, My old LMS 520C bit the dust.
There was a brand new boat launching when I did that couldn't get something to work and pulled back out. When I came back in at2:15 he was backing back in again. Pulled right back out for whatever reason and parked and was working on it again. Felt sorry for him, had his wife and a couple of friends with him.

Transgenders: God made them, the devil changed their minds.

Appreciate the fishing reports and good to hear some numbers are being caught on Fayette again.
