Made a quick trip to lake Bastrop to fix a loose running board on my trailer. After taking care of that, I decided to hit the water a couple of hours. Found some cover with fish on it in 40 feet of water. Dropped a crappie jig down and a nice bluegill snapped it up. Must of been 8 or 10 down there but after catching a couple they bugged out and I couldn't locate them anymore. Found another spot in 15 foot of water holding fish and ended up catching a small bass. Water temperature was in the mid to upper 60's and water was clear. Only caught 2 sunnies but they were both over 8".

Steve - I did look for them at FCL last week and struck out. Of course, I wasn't scanning in water deeper than 20 feet. Hooked a few catfish and got one in the boat.
I'm going to try getting out there Tuesday next week.
