When you catch an unusual fish, make sure you check the records. The bigmouth buffalo that I caught in October was recently confirmed by the IGFA as the All-tackle Length World Record on a fly. Nice fish Sir and congratulations! Side Note: That had to be one heck of a fight! It was a fun fight. The fish thought it was a tarpon. It jumped all over the place. Very unusual for a buffalo. I had lost one earlier in the day and thought I was going to lose this one when it jumped over the net.  This was a big bucket list fish for me.
