Never was a huge fan on Solunar tables. Any way, as always a solid post and some very solid fish. Good job Steve!

Wow. Tough day. Only 36 green carp. I know some anglers that dream of a day like that. I always enjoy your posts. Thanks for sharing.

I know where the bluegill are on FCL. they are all inside those bass stomachs and that's why they are so phat

Thanks Chuck & Barry...Just curious from the Legend #1 (Barry) what's your take on the Solunar tables for fishing? I fish when I have the opportunity, so I don’t consider solar tables, moon phase, temperature, fronts, barometric pressure, farmers almanac, east wind, cloudy skies, sunshine, or cows laying down. I am not saying these things don’t effect fishing, I just don’t take the time to study them. I have caught fish when “conditions” were bad and didn’t catch anything when “conditions” were great. I am not trying to avoid the solunar tables issue, I just haven’t checked them enough to have an opinion. Some of the things I do watch are lightening, wind, and wave height, for safety reasons.

Barry...what you really need to pay attention to is the # of dead skunks on the road ! I will start working on a correlation with a double blind study and apply for federal funding.

On our way to Amistad last Sunday we actually counted 5 squished skunks on the road and we caught 5 bass. Coincidence? I think you need to apply for that federal funding . I'm sure Joe would approve

Nice fish. It will not be long until we start seeing those Fayette Bluegill Slabs.
