I am rigging a new boat with a Lowrance Elite FS graph and a Motor Guide XI3 trolling motor. I can’t find the correct cable to connect the two. Trolling motor came with a 6 pin male cable And the Elite FS graph has a 9 pin female port. I read you can use a 7 pin male plug vs the 9 pin. I have looked online and can’t find this exact setup. Anyone know where I can find one?

You need the 7 to 9 pin adaptor that adapts a 7 pin transducer to 9 pin connector. I don't know what trolling motor you have but the mfg usually has those adaptors for the transducer mfg. if its a Motor Guide it is now owned by the same company that owns Lowrance. I know they are all compatible. FYI if you have 6 pins but 7 holes in the connector it is a 7 pin connector even though it has not been populated with all the pins.

Larry, the trolling motor is a new Xi3 MotorGuide. I just ordered the 7 to 9 pin adapter. Thanks for the help.
