I hooked into a fish yesterday on Lake Sheldon and something went wrong with my 13 Concept Z. Sounds like a gear stripped out or something.. I bought the reel brand new and used it very rarely, it's in like new condition. Was working fine all day at Sheldon and was fine all day at Bastrop the day before

Anybody know what the problem could be? Trying to get in contact with 13 Fishing can be a nightmare. I have a little video on exactly what went wrong.

Looks like you may have broken some teeth on the idle gear…they are generally plastic and when you break teeth off they can become lodged in the reel binding it up
