Went to Lake of the Ozarks to meet family. It was reported to be prime time for crappie. After a hard cold front the crappie fishing pretty much shut down. So, since I always believe in finding what is biting, we switched to bluegill and had a great time fishing with earthworms. We ended the trip with lots of bluegill, a few crappie and bass, and one nice catfish. Family, fishing and fun.

Nice. Smart to go for what is biting rather than spending lots of time trying to catch what is not biting. That has always been my thoughts. Great looking kids having fun fishing. Time well spent.
