I've got two basset hounds and I'm not sure how taking them fishing would work out. They are a hunting breed and have to sniff everything they come in contact with as close as the can. I'd probably wind up digging a crank bait out of their noses.

This picture is several years old, he doesn't go anymore, rather stay home with Momma!

He goes every time except when fishing a tournament! Stays in the boat until he gets the signal itโ€™s time for a swim!!

My Great Pyrenees/Lab mix. Got cancer and had to be put down last September. He loved riding in the boat.

Four legged fishing partners are great. Just donโ€™t take them INTO a restaurant!!! There was a fat guy with his fat porgy at the restaurant tonight. My wife was really aggravated. My son asked the fat SOB if it was a heart attack sniffing dog or just a diabetes sniffing dog? Hahah.

He got pissed. I told him he needs to take his ugly dog to a restaurant with a patio. The restaurant owners are scared to say anything.
