Irregardless of the noise, that was a win. Against the best.
For the turd that called me an “old”. I’m 64 and love technology. Yes, these winners are kids. I hate watching FFS tournaments on BASS and MLF. No more pro bass fishing on mainstream TV. Web content only in 2 yrs, max.

He said throughout the event the way they were set up 360 was a better tool than true FFS. He threw a variety of baits but mainly cranked up the majority. If I was watching closely enough I think his 7-4 came on a white chatterbait.

Fish are smoking a spinnerbait here in Mineola,
They were choking it in Feb ahead of the spawn. Choking it again right now.
White or variants with silver blades.
Black and Gold on dark days. Black buzzbait before daylight.

Fouzman, I'm almost 66 and the kids call me and Olds. Yet in my profession I've adjusted to every new piece of equipment and technology that has been thrown my way. If we make 1 remark that doesn't fit their narrative about FFS we are called Olds and other words. We've seen 5 times more improvements and new technology in our lifetime then they have. I've gone to lakes with electronics and maps and caught fish. But I've also fished with a crappie guide who had FFS. And my wife and I had a blast. But once again if my views differ from the kids then I get ridiculed. Lol. But I will continue to think for myself and make my own decisions. Instead of getting in line and being a follower.

I know Garret broke out a white hair jig yesterday and today when it was flat calm and the crank bait bite slowed.....I wasn't watching when he caught that big fish today but I know he got some good ones on the hair jig yesterday.
Seems like the younger/rookie group might just be hungrier and maybe outworking some of the vets right now. Though I know a lot of the vets have significantly more time taken up by sponsor commitments, podcasts, etc.....where most their money comes from.

LOL..."the turd". Get em Fouz! While you're still young enough!! I'm in my white new balance while typing but I bought an Active Target within 6 months of it coming out. Still not great at it but I've caught some decent fish. Old dog...new trick.
