How far up the river are you wanting? I launched at Hamm Creek on Saturday and went all the way up to Spring Creek. The water was very muddy and visibility only about 6-8 inches.

You pretty much nailed it, had a bass tournament there and didn't get to pre fish. Stayed mid lake south instead of running up there blind. Thanks for the replies.
