No boat?
Thereโ€™s way too many options to choose all.

Island Jim lives in Rockport, he's going to be a bit better source for better information. Maybe he'll wander in and lend a hand.

IF I had to catch something worthwhile, and I had no boat, I do see a lot of people wading here, should be better than even shot at getting a trout or redfish bite. Go to tackle town in Fulton, get a package of 1/8 oz screwlock jig heads, and either cocoho queen minnow or hoagies super minnow, pumpkin/chartreuse if it's cloudy, red glitter/white tail if it's bright sun. Long pants and lace up shoes and go get with them. Pay particular attention to the potholes and breaks in the grass. Weather is going to bash any sort of surf fishing right now, and without a boat, you're kinda limited.

This is right off 35 going through town. You'll see places to park and get in. Good luck.

Fly Chef: Hope it's not too late, but if you want to wade fish, Little Bay, as shown by Pat Goff, is easy. Aransas Pathways has a map showing 16 kayak launches, many of which have wade-able areas. Get the map at the Rockport Tourism Office, free. If no wading, you can follow Fulton Beach Road up to the Fulton Fishing Pier. Or, drive over the bridge to Lamar, and go to Goose Island State Park. Their lighted fishing pier can often have good fishing, especially at night. Bank fishing? Either side of the Hwy 361 road between Aransas Pass and the ferry landing offer countless bank fishing spots. Hopefully, you will get some good tips at Tackle Town. Good luck, and I hope you learn a lot. Fishing the coast is a big learning opportunity. IslandJim
