I've been through 3 of them...one I watched come through a ravine and down my Grandpas lawn. It quickly broke apart once it hit the lake.
We were in a small modular home in the "basement", basically a glorified crawl space. Talk about a learning experience as a kid.
They can be absolutely terrifying and extremely damaging to anything in their path.

I thought I heard yesterday that a train was knocked off the tracks close to Wimberley by a tornado.
