I just replaced the starter and solenoid on my 2017 Ranger 570 midsize as the starter had gone bad. Now when I go to start it sometime the starter turns slowly and occasionally just sounds like the battery is weak and won't start. I can turn off the key and retry and it eventually turns over normal and starts. The battery was replaced 6 months ago and tests at 12.8 volts and 14.6 volts when running. Just wondered if anyone might have any ideas. Thanks all.

Not familiar with that vehicle, but it maybe sounds like a loose ground?

Not familiar with that vehicle, but it maybe sounds like a loose ground? Had a motorcycle do the same and a loose battery frame ground was the problem.

Battery may not be good under a load ie. when cranking. Auto parts store can load test it for you at no charge.
