CORRECTION 5/4/24 New kayak, 2nd trip. I Left out of isle Du Bois around 7:30am, hugged the shore to the left(south). Threw white then green t rigged weightless super fluke jrs, a hover rig, 50 size crank bait, 4” sensors in white and green. nada… except for 2.5lb catfish with white fluke dead sticked ( in case you want to bass fish for catfish. lol)…

Felt like I should have whacked them with the weather but I finally caught three dink LM on a Savage Gear salamander Ned rig in about 10ft at the island. It was late in the day and never found big ones. Hope to get my Lowrance installed within 2 weeks. It will sync to my XI5. I’ll be stoked.

Perhaps a problem was a lot of gar and or carp in the shallows? Dunno. With no FF I was blind casting.

Two gents at the ramp said they were skunked.
