Any predictions? Looks like it is going to be the heavy part of the shad/herring spawn. With the way the weather is shaping up, cloudy and rainy the first 2 days, sunny Sat and Sunday, I think totally different patterns will be prevalent. If the FFS guys can make it through to the cut, they will be in good shape. The Hackneys of the world better catch them big the first 2 days, the spawn dies early on those sunny days! My pick would be someone who does both well like Hamner.

I still have no idea how he hasnt won one. I know he is not in his prime anymore, but there are a lot of guys who have won one that comparatively were not in his ballpark. That would be pretty funny if he won with the last few weeks he has had.

No predictions from me... I'm ranked 20,425 in BASS Fantasy Fishing... I picked mostly local guys... Dan

He needs to figure out how to make a cut at this point.

Nothing totally on this thread but it’s a massive layering effect. You try way too hard man. It may be the long MN winters. Maybe move south so you fish more and not type as much.

At least Swindle was consistent, he was 80th after yesterday and 80th after today.

Holy smokes he is also 97th in AOY.

No wonder why he is trolling for clicks.

No wonder why he is trolling for clicks.

Next two tourneys are in Bama, he may have a revival.

Miliken showing he might be better off sticking to YouTube and Texas lakes. I know he’s still top 50 for AOY but goodness. I’ll be the first to admit I overrated his ability to be diverse.

There has to be a story. How does a guy like that only have 2 small fish for an entire day?

There isn't a fisherman alive who doesn't have bad days.

It would appear that the guys who were starting the "greatest of all time" chatter have gone silent. I have always been against claiming GOAT with only a small sample size. The guy is human just like everybody else. He will have his good tournaments and his bad, and we are seeing he is no different that anybody else. Mother nature is smarter than any human alive.

Tournament fishing has a way of humbling even the greatest.
More than one who made the top 50 cut didn't catch a limit there last day--- including the GOAT himself Rick Clunn.

I wonder if that is because they are swinging for the fences? Checkers or wreckers. etc...

The sun on that last day killed Mosley. He needed shade for that square bill bite he was on.

I tuned in without context to the Live feed on Saturday morning and was surprised to see Lee Livesay just standing around with his rod across his shoulders. I had no clue there was a place and time (other than site fishing) where it is detrimental to the technique to have a lure in the water.

That was an interesting and diverse mix of fishing. Power-Poles down on main lake pointing toward the end of the point and just waiting for fish to come to you and fire up!

Yes, fishing has changed quite a bit.....always taught to keep your lure in the water to catch em'......

Seen it on most any lake where schooling fish are prevalent and there tuned into a certain bait.
If you don't get a bait right on top of the blowup you're wasting your time.
