I just came in from photographing it. Sorry for the size, it's a little larger than the 1000px wide I normally post. This is the full size version of what I get with a 500mm lens.

It won't effect your car or your radio. It isn't like an EMP blowing off above us. As mentioned, I'd yank your antenna if you have a big external one.

This is going to possibly effect things with long wires. Longer than what is in your car or radio. Stuff like a giant aerial antennas or power lines.

Happy I got something, although it wasn't a great result. Tough photography to say the least. 6-shot pano, 20 second exposures. Lights of Ardmore in the distance, 1:30am.

Those stormchaser reports were why I took off up to OK to try to get something. I was late for the most intense show, but there was a report that long exposure would still get colors that couldn't be seen with the naked eye.
