Yes I see 40% chance saturday afternoon through sunday night. Could get a little wet. No matter, nothing is going to stop this trip.

No dragging at 800 cfs. I was told that the 20 mile trip was taking roughly 7hrs in canoe. That leaves a lot if time for fishing and relaxing on a kayak for 3 days.

Sounds great, I want to really slow down my life for those three days. I am sure I will paddle up to the damn area when I first put in, then fish as much as I can as I drift. Maybe set up camp by 5 every day, then just fish those areas for the evening.

Looks like they are slowing down the release. That is music to my ears since it looks like it will be raining the last 24 hours of my trip.

I was hoping for that, since I really don't want to try and keep up with live bait for three days. I am bringing my castnet as well. I should be able to have about 24 hours on the water, so plan to really stay on some spots this time, it would be nice to catch more than dinks. I was really unprepared and had no clue what I was trying to catch last time I went

the toughest part of a trip is the last day or two before you leave for the trip. You're already there in your mind.

Just a thought you want to trade places with me and work and I will go do that terrible trip for you? I only have to work 10 hours today at a crappy job that I really do not care for.

Hope he was up on some high ground last night. We were supposed to go down to the devils earlier this afternoon for a trip, but got a call saying it's over the banks and you can't even get to it. Hopefully in a few days they'll all be down alittle bit and flowing good.

Man, it's been a long time since I've seen comments like this. Thank God for the rain.
I bet Steve's allright, he was expecting some rain so he is probably prepared.
Camping in heavy rain can be challenging but you learn a lot and it's different than the usual experience. It can be fun as long as it doesn't rain the whole trip. Most folks idea of watching the rain is from the perspective of looking through a window and watching it run down a sheet of glass.
And after the rain you might see a rainbow- even a double rainbow!!
