Cabelas is having some good free seminars this weekend. One on sit on top kayaks and some others on how to fish on the coast. cheers

It turned out to be pretty slow for the reds. We started out on Light House Lakes, saw a few tailing Saturday morning then it rained a little and the wind got up. saw a few more cruising but I couldn't get a fly to them.
Later that evening we tried our luck at the Y on Brown & Root. Caught a few specks and a ladyfish. Then hooked a good size sting ray on my baitcaster, that ended up pulling me all the way back to the truck. Ended up fighting that ray for over an hour till I landed him. It was nice not having to paddle back to the truck.
Then Sunday we fished till around noon. Didn't see to much, except a school of rays and a couple of freindly Geese.
We had a great time even though the fish didn't cooperate.
