Fishing was SLOW for bass out there Sunday Paul. Steve did catch a 22" 6 1/2lber though. But that was it as far as bass go. We caught several crappie and sandbass. In fact the Crappie seem to have that place on lockdown. Chris was having a hard time keeping them off his spinnerbait. Water was also very stained and it looks like it will be even moreso with the rain wednesday/Thursday. Should still be fun though!

I have our family reunion this Saturday so I will not make it.
Y'all try to keep the totals low so you don't hurt my point standings. rolfmao

I just said we fished it Sunday Paul! lol So yes we know how to get there. All I know is come Saturday Im following you. That place looks real fishy all over but they all had lockjaw Sunday except for the crappie and sandbass. I was even able to net a bunch of shad in that big pond on the banks.

Yeah we thought about going back to that area but didn't want to spend the time lol. We did go check out the pond area. Wasn't to impressed as far as bass go but it was LOADED with crappie and sandbass.

Water was flowing good this morning. Hope it slows down by the time y'all go out. Been back in there a few times and I like it. Wish I could make it out this weekend but I have had other plans for a while. Good luck!

You'd be amazed at how fast I can paddle that lil yak loaded down or not lol. I can paddle faster than Chris can peddle just can't keep it up for very long haha. But yeah Im not packing real heavy either. I got a pretty nice game plan.

Only 4 of us showed up so it really wasnt like a tournament at all. At least it didnt feel that way to me. Im not a fan of Sandy lake. That place hates me. I got to the Trinity the day after and have a 30+ fish day. Oh well
