It didn’t matter how big the show was I was highly likely to pass out.
Van Halen 1984 tour., then a few months later Rush Power Windows tour. Went to a concert every month from 1984 to 1986….lots of great bands. Tickets were 13 to 17 bucks back then and I still have the ticket stubs. Good times.

Re: Your first concert - 09/19/23 04:33 PM
Senior year at the Aladdin in Vegas I saw Goo Goo Dolls, No Doubt and STP at the same show. That was my first "real band" show and possibly the most 90s concert ever.
Saw lots of friends bands play locally. Including a band that featured 1/2 of what became the The Killers. Ron Vannuci eventually became their drummer. He and I went to High School together. We were not BFFs but we knew each other, had some close friends in common. He still owes my about 20 beers and a few J's. Never did pay me back that rat...
Two stories for the price of one!!

The 2nd show l ever saw. One of the hardest working bands that ever worked a stage. Played at my hometown's Civic Auditorium. Blowed the roof off the place, pyro & all. It was the first rock show at our auditorium and the last as there was a lot of old money living across from the venue. They put a stop to anymore rock bands coming to town.
