I am not sure about the id on the snake. The color indicates a copperhead, but the normal copperhead hourglass pattern doesn’t appear clear on the snake. The lean body shape is also off. It is probably a copperhead, but I need more information for a confirmation. Did you get other pictures? Pictures of the belly and a clear picture of the head would help. The best confirmation would be to open the mouth and look for fangs, but I don’t recommend that unless you know what you are doing. scared

Yep, beat me too it. Color similar to a copperhead but lighter and different pattern. Good snake.

Corn snake fits better than copperhead, but it is not good to confuse the two. scared More pictures would confirm.

Corn rat snake is what I was thinking. It didn't have that distinctive copperhead shaped head
