Buchanan fishing tips - 03/23/24 02:21 AM

Been gettiing asked about Lady Buch and how she's fishing and any tips. I don’t guide anymore but here is what I would say this time of yr for whites/hybrids/stipers. I don’t have live scope or any of that. Start at humps in the 20-30ft . Don’t look for the haystacks… look for the sawtooth bottom. If your graphing and go from a flat line to bottom that’s flat and then sawtooth mark and fish. If you see a lonely arch above or near even better. Anchor up and start thumping. If your fishing shad no more than 10-12 pulls. This time of yr everybody wants to head north for the white bass run. Make no mistake you can catch fish but the South end of the lake still has fish that haven’t been pressured.
