.035'' diameter wire, 5/0 Owner hook set far back in the lead to mitigate the need for a trailer hook, Airbrushed with three different colors, dipped in UV reactive clear coat, sealed with KBS diamond finish, Nichols blades, ball bearing swivel, hand tied keeper that can hold elaztech, 6th sense 3d crush eyes, hand tied skirt with reverse flare (thank you for that tip bassjiggin1955). Is there anyone making better spinnerbaits with do it molds? If so I wanna see them!!

This is the real deal super fluke mold. No angling ai, no epic baitmolds, but the real zoom fluke. I make them in different colors and plastic densities for myself.

I started cutting the lead keeper off my jigs and tying a trailer keeper like that. It brings the weight forward slightly on the jig head and changes up the action.

Thanks again ^^ I've done a few bladed jigs like that and they absolutely pulsate in water. These are some zako style bladed jig trailers I made with epic bait molds "epic darter"

I used 3/8oz lead, #4 humdinger blade, 3/0 owner spinnerbait hook, and 2 strips of all terrain keitech skirt material in tennessee shad. I've been getting a lot of bites with this jig. Ignore the weird line tie, i ran out of snaps and had to improvise.

Here's a curly tail swimbait mold designed by Marling baits. Its 5.5 inches and has a weighted tail with a super hard thump. Good pond bait, gets big bites, but it takes about 1/4th oz of lead to get the tail going unless you make it out of super soft plastic. If you haven't watched Marling baits youtube channel, I highly suggest it- extremely entertaining and you learn a thing or two about lure making.

My bladed jigs. #4 Humdinger blade, Do-it mold, 3/0 Trokar or Owner hook, and 2 tabs of skirt material tied in reverse flare the way bassjiggin1955 does it. I do a base coat of powdercoat and bake it on for durability, then airbrush some details, glue eyes, and dip in UV clear coat. I use my own rage menace style trailer that i got from baitmold.com. The 3/8oz run about 1-4 feet deep on a steady retrieve and get absolutely smashed! I appreciate the comments banker.

Anyone ever fish a black crank? I saw a bunch of baby black bullhead swimming around so I quickly painted this KVD 1.5 and caught three small bass before i snagged.

Those cranks look good. These remind me a baitmaker out of Indiana, he would hand carve and hand paint all them. He had one he called the redriver. It worked during winter and spring on the White River tricking smallmouth.

Black & blue and brown & orange are my favorite skirt colors for jigs; white pearl for spinnerbaits.
If I cast more crankbaits, the colors shown would be my choice. Nice work!

What trailers do you use for jigs and spinnerbaits? Do the colors match skirt colors?

Black & blue and green pumpkin are some of the most popular jig colors but they are extremely overlooked in spinnerbaits. Black cranks are really good too, but I have yet to try this black and blue flatside posted above. I use various swimbaits and curly tail grubs as spinnerbait trailers and just let the fish tell me what they want. I do like to match the jig skirt color perfectly with custom plastics.

You can have this batch of three for 26 shipped if you are interested. They aren't as clean as the ones i offered bassjiggin but will still 100 percent get bites.

The do-it crank blanks have been somewhat hit or miss but this little lipless is really, really good. Its only 2'' but a hefty 3/8 oz and fishes about 3ft deep when you reel it steady. I primarily fish it in shad colors.

The way a 2.3'' preybait lines up with a Z-man finesse eyes jighead is a thing of beauty. This lure gets lots of bites and has multi species capability. I typically use it on an alabama rig when the bass are feeding on tiny shad. Even though its only 2.3 inches it has much more bulk than a 3'' keitech.

I call this color "sugar creek sunfish." This is a repaint/replade of a terminator titanium wire. These discontinued titanium wires are indestructible and have a different vibration. The titanium was so hard to bend, it took a couple minutes to get the swivel on the end. The blades are made by nichols and sold on tacklewarehouse.

I wouldn't say mastered, I still can't paint a bluegill crank for the life of me.

Here are some poison tail swim jigs I've been working on. This mold has really grown on me since I found the right hook for it, I sell a lot of these. We run them with z-man elaztech swimbaits, rage swimmers, or fat keitech swing impacts.
[Linked Image]
I use a 4/0 Gama G-Finesse hybrid worm hook. I learned about this hook from Harvey Horne's swinging football head class on bass university. It has more bite than conventional EWGs and has insane penetration due to the slick coating. It isn't the strongest hook, but its strong enough. I put a tiny grip-pin keeper on the hook to retain elaztech baits, and i tie the jigs with reverse flare. I catch largemouth with these here and there but my friends on the west coast are absolutely tearing up spotted bay bass with them.
