Here’s my process for installing a Lowrance Elite FS 7 onto a Feelfree kayak. As a preface: This is my first electronics install and I have no idea what I’m doing.
The 3-in-1 transducer being way too big for standard transducer kayak mounting gear was my biggest challenge, so I demonstrated a DIY fix I figured out for it using its native mounting bracket. There is a bracket from Yak Hobby that can be used, and I ordered it, but my order was delayed and I got impatient. The proprietary rail system on the Feelfree also forced me to get adapters so standard rail mount gear could fit. Let me know what you think.
