Number 1 was Summerfest in Milwaukee in 1972. Dr. John, Arnold Guthrie, Quicksilver Messenger Service, George Carlin, The Doors, Phosferecent Leach and Eddie. Unfortunately Morrisson died in 1971. There were also jazz bands. Kegs of free beer everywhere. End of July and people jumping off a rock ledge into Lake Michigan. They came out as fast as they went in.

Dude I was at that Black Sabbath concert! Fun facts...a friend of mine got the tickets for three of us...me, him, and his MOM (no definetly not a milf). I somehow ended up being the one who had to sit next to his mom...and the topper was our seats were BEHIND the stage...still a great concert and Van Halen put on the better show of the two.

As far as the rolling stones at the cottonbowl here is my take: 1. something was off with billy squire, 2. no body gives a ratz ash about the dallas cowboy cheerleaders, zz top played for only 45 minutes (played great but why so short???) and the stones sucked sooooo bad we would seriously thought about walking out...they should have turned that firehose on jagger instead of the crowd....nah you can keep that one.

I’ve always wanted to see George Strait so I tried to buy tickets tonight to his
Concert in college Station. After seeing the $265 fee for buying 2 tickets on top of the $700 tickets we were going to buy, I just could not do it. I guess George will be someone I never get to see. Ticket vendors must be raking it in.

KC and the Sunshine Band at 6 flags summer of 1977. Not because of the music. It was my first Cougar experience!
