tells us all we need to know. Toyota, the company you hold up as hold outs from bring EV's, is introducing two new models for sale in China and Europe. They also announced to bring their first hybrid using their solid state battery. That battery will be tested in a hybrid then if successful will be used in their EV's. They are coming. You have to try really really hard to think they aren't. Pat tries really really hard. Would you care to share the details of your head injury?

Ford Lost $130,000 on Every EV It Sold in the First Quarter
The Blue Oval reported an 84 percent drop in revenue in its Model e electric division.
APR 26, 2024
Ford's Model e EV division reported a net revenue of around $100,000,000 in the first quarter.
Adding in expenses, though, the Blue Oval's EV arm lost $1.3 billion for the quarter.

If Ford lost $130,000 on every EV it sold, how much will they eventually have to cost in order to be profitable? $160,000 each? $175K More?
Is this how much some of you want to have to pay for vehicles?

Is this how much some of you want to have to pay for vehicles? The govt. will cover any losses.

Hilarious. I had EVs when I was 10.
Still have the set I bought for the kids 25 years ago. Probably my favorite toy growing up was my 4 lane Aurora race track. I had lots of cars and got in to doing mods on some. Also had a badass offroad remote control car at one time. The only EVs I will ever own.

Is this how much some of you want to have to pay for vehicles? Taxpayers will cover any losses. Any way you look at it, we will all pay for the totalitarian mandate.

Electric cars …..the truth as I see it .
I'm fed up with comments from people ridiculing EVs. They don't know what they're talking about.
Personally, I drive two top of the line EVs, a Jaguar and a Porsche.
Their acceleration and handling is fantastic. They look brilliant and they're really cheap to run. They need hardly any maintenance and haven't depreciated since I bought them.
Literally the only criticism I could make of them is sometimes, if I really push them into a corner, they can fly off the track and get stuck under the sofa.... Had to read this twice before I realized this was a pretty good joke. Well done!
