Gober, you had better read up on jugline fishing, we are only allowed NO MORE THAN 5 hooks per jugline & the jugs HAVE TO BE WHITE IN COLOR!!!I'd hate to see you get fined by the game warden for too many hooks on a jugline set!I only use SS 6/0 long shank salt water hooks on my lines with 18-20 inch stagings with the biggest swivel & snap that I can get, I've caught 40-50 # yellow cats on them & have NEVER HAD ONE TO FAIL!!Hope this helps you & you catch all the big 'uns ya want! TLP I think what he ran was two short trot lines betwen two jigs, I don't think he was jugfishing, due to his earlier post above. Just not using the right words?????????????????????????

Yep I ran two jug lines and two small trot lines. I stuffed the bottled with white paper towels, effectively making them white. I think I would have grounds to argue it with a warden. The jugs had 4 hooks per regs and they were small trots with 12 hooks each.
