I’m in Falfurrias working at my buddies ranch. The stores are no different down here. Limited purchases and empty shelves. Nice being here even though it was 101 today.
Topped the evening off with a huge cut of bone in prime rib.
Even 6.5’d a pig at dark.

I’m afraid this thing is faaaar from turning around. It just means the hoarders ran out of room to store their goods is my guess.

I am normally not the most optimistic person but I think the supply chain is starting to catch up with the idiot hoarders. Have heard more and more stores this week that had most all goods including TP. We will do our normal shopping this weekend so I guess I will find out. I am a senior but have not tried to or needed to take advantage of the senior hours so far found all we needed normal shopping.

The supply chain for restaurants is in shambles, deliveries a mess, outages, to do the small amount of business we are doing I'm having to scramble to get stuff. Total pita.

I scored TP on Amazon, payed too much but when the supply goes low at home I get nervous. Managed to score 2 loaves of bread at Walmart yesterday, you'd have thought I won the lottery!

I can relate. I haven't seen TP or paper towels on the shelf in over two weeks and when I found it at Costco I was almost giddy.

Had to swing by Brookshires for a few groceries earlier......stunned to find all bread, milk and meat section fully stocked. Another little victory.

Our United here in Graham has a fully stocked meat market. However the employees were wiping down the shelves yesterday because there was hardly anything anywhere. I have not seen any TP, paper towels, paper plates or trash bags in 2 weeks at least.

And the TP is made here domestically. I’m not sure what the hoarders were thinking. There’s plenty to go around and call me old school but I think social media allows that nonsense to propagate at unprecedented rates.

A week ago our friend said that it’s fuel now you have to hoard. Ummmmmm.... Have you see what oil is going for? We have refineries in Texas so how in the heck is a shortage of gasoline upon us?

Guess what? WRONG.

I’ll take these small victories Mark.

There really isn't any way for the paper plants to catch up until people get to the point that they think they have enough paper products stashed away. Paper plants run 24/7 365 days a year, it's not like they can work overtime and make more product.
