I hated Disney movies

90% of the movie was having to watch the poor, wretched leading character go from one set of dire circumstances to another and then the last few minutes of the movie, it’s one big happy ending

I am right there with you on this. We had dry and wet systems where I used to work, trying to explain to people the difference is almost a lost cause every time. One other thing is the movies that have people trapped in a computer room and the Halon or Co2 system activates and they act like it just get cold. No one notices that it might be a little bit hard to to breath in an inert atmosphere.

The fact that people die immediately from arrows and gunshots in movies and TV.

David, this reminds me of a tight wad customer we were installing a paint cure oven for on a conveyor line in McAlister OK. The heat from the entrance and exit of the 450 deg oven would set off one of the standard temp heads and spray hot water all over the guys installing the paint line below. He’d buy a single hi temp head and have them install it. Then the next one down would go off. Same thing, guy would go buy one head and we’d replace that one. Each time of course someone have to run over to the main and turn it off. Wasn’t monitored so the fire dept never showed up.
The foreman of our contractor crew finally went and bought 11 more heads on his own and replaced everything above that oven and nearby. Finally no more hot showers and that damn water was HOT!!!

It puzzled me with all the action occurring in Monument Valley and also in another area with all the huge boulders. The outlaw Josey Wales is more realistic. All the characters and their clothes are filthy. Where do they sleep? They just unroll the blanket and sleep like a baby all night without ants crawling all over them.
