This is perfect. We're going to sell them here. They are going to a family member. Trying to liquidate as many assets as we can.

Lever action .357 Rossi is awesome. I've shot more stuff with mine than even my bolt action Model 7 223.

Bob, you’re giving off serious boomer vibes with all this lever action talk. We need to get you into a SCAR, Knights Armament SR15 or Sig SPEAR. It’s 2023, brother.

If that marlin 22 lever is in good shape it could easily be worth $1000 depending on model. Don’t let that one go until looking it up for reference.

Those are lowball offers for the most part.

Go to the THF and sell them in the Firearms Sales, Trades and Gunsmithing section of the classifieds over there. Unless you are just wanting to unload them wholesale.

For the most part Marlin .22 lever actions IF a model 39A start at $ 5-600 (80%) and can easily go over $1000. Very desirable long gun.

The Savage at BPS retails for $350 (new) w/scope

The Walther P22 is a $3-400 pistol used in good shape.

And so on.

Lastly, I'd be cautious selling ANY handguns in Ill. To ANYONE.

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

Agreed. Especially on the last point. If you can secure them in your vehicle (locked gun case in trunk, etc), then bringing them back to Texas would make reselling much easier, and you'll most likely get higher prices between TFF and THF.

If it were me, I'd break them down, secure them and get back to Texas while being very careful not to speed in Illinois. But that's just me.

Illinois is a nightmare when it come to guns. When I took my Ohio concealed carry class the instructor ask if anyone traveled for work and what states they traveled to. I said Illinois, he said just leave the gun at home Their laws are so convoluted that it's almost illegal to take a gun into the state... Just pack them up and head south and sell them when you get home... Found this... Dan

What is the gun laws in Illinois for non-residents?
A non-resident who has a valid Concealed Carry License from their home state may carry a concealed firearm within a vehicle traveling through Illinois.
