Why do you like one or the other? When do you use one vs the other? What makes an MBR special?

MBR is a rod action not a grip style

I'll be honest, I don't know what MBR is.

I like split grip on most of my rods but like the full cork on the big cranking rods.

I like full handle better. I also like the full handle on my MBR.

So I have a Shimano Expride B 7ft2 MH rod with a fast taper and I throw everything on it. I mostly throw jigs, chatterbaits and weight less Senkos on it. How does a MBR compare to this rod. Why do people like MBR

For larger and heavier baits like swim baits, glide baits, A-rigs, deep crank baits, punching thick grass with a 1oz. weight , flipping and pitching, etc.

So how does MBR action compare to split grip NRX plus

Grip has nothing to do with It. There are MBR tapers in the NRX line.

The full grip vs. the split grip rod is all personal preference. It has nothing to do with the action of the rod. Look at the rating of the rod you are using for the technique you are planning to fish. Its not that hard to figure out.

I prefer the Split handle and Cork over the Full handle.
