Yesterday on texoma while I was on spot lock fishing another boat that was trolling passed within fifteen feet of me. I was in position before they showed up. I didn't get into their line. Five times they came past so close I could have almost touched them. I have also seen many times when a boat will troll through a school of fish that other anglers are working from the perimeter. Is this bad form or am I crazy?

You should have recorded it and reported them. That is way too close.

It's ridiculous but happens all the time. Just shake it off. It's really no big deal

I like to stand on edge of my boat and try and piss in their boat. I can piss pretty far, but they usually leave after that.

The only difference between a little girls scream and a warrior's battle cry is the direction your'e running!

Man did I love Texoma. Wish I know now what I didn't know then but still did fine.
As regards a.holes that think they own the water, relax and wait until they're gone. East a sandwich, listen to music, b.s. with one another while ignoring them. This way they can't know you value the spot or that you're p.o.'d. That just gives them the satisfaction they aren't getting while catching no fish. Trolling is one technique I never use vs targeting fish at different depths - slowly - using different lures - none that work trolling.
No enforcement of fishing etiquette exists - only creel and size limits. If you saw them keeping undersized or too many fish, that would be reportable, but try finding an F & G officer when you need one. Good luck!
Texoma is huge. Many areas to fish - especially in water 9' or less if memory serves, plus many times during the day to fish except when temps are in the upper 80's or hotter.

Wait for the boat to pass, turn trolling motor on high and swing behind the boat and cut their lines. This method works better if you use the hand held remote while eating a sandwhich. Never look at their boat while you do it either.
Woke up this morning Got yourself a gun....

Chunk a 1 oz slab behind their boat , let it sink , then a fast retrieve, When It catches their line , yell " I've got a big one" With luck you will get all their lines. MO

Avoid annoyances by Going to places where other boats can't go, or at times when others can't go...
