We just back from a week’s vacation in RR, NM and had a great time. My gripe is, the road from RR to Eagles Nest about 17 miles I think is terrible and about tears your trailer and vehicle suspension to pieces. You would think that all the money that is spent on fuel and staying in condos, houses, and camping that they would keep the highways in great shape with your tax dollars.
If it wasn’t for TEXAS residents going up there it would probably be a ghost town because that’s all the vehicle license plates you see.

With that lunatic governor they have it want happen she closed all of state parks and lakes during covid.Hard to catch while on your boat out in the fresh air

Winters are hard on pavement. Snow plowing, whatever they put down when it snows and traffic all tear up pavement in extreme conditions.

We were going thru there and it says watch for falling rocks , about that a bag of chips popped . Scared the chit out of us
A lot of good times in RR , just to cold for me . -20 one morning
