What does braid ready mean? Curado DC is the reel Braid on a bare spool will slip when under pressure. On casting reels if the spool has holes in it you can tie through one of them to prevent slippage. On spinning reels some will have a rubber band on the spool to keep the line from slipping. If your reels dont have these then another trick is to put a wrap of electrical tape on the spool.
