Went to a buddies 60th birthday weekend celebration this weekend at Cedar Creek and went out with Justin Shelton with Creekside Outfitters on Saturday. Fish were hitting minnows and shad colored thump buddies. That lake simply amazes me with all the guides that it supports, I think we had one throwback, there were some big uns. Even caught a 10 lb hybrid on the Thump Buddy in Honor of Lane as he talked me into buying them. Fish were all on brush piles in 12 to 28 foot of water. Bashams Grocery Food Distributing in South Fort Worth near I20 and Hemphill
They have a walk in grocery store set up in there. They come in plain and Jalapeno and come in 5lb sacks for about $8 if I can remember.Those Onion rings and fry's came from there as well. Prices are hard to beat.
