At Oklahoma or Louisiana casino's drive around the parking lot and count the Texas plates. That is a lot of tax money Texas is missing out of.

Looks like Hard Rock is adding a hotel/restaruant, etc., to the existing development which already has a golf course, casino. Don't think another casino is being built.

Set to begin construction in March 2024, the Hard Rock Hotel and Residences will be located within the Pointe Vista development, joining a 2,700-acre master-planned resort community featuring over 19 miles of shoreline, a golf course, enclosed waterpark, family entertainment center, amphitheater, casino and more.

harvey: Oklahoma may not be getting much tax money, either. West Bay Casino is one of sixteen casinos owned by the Chickasaw Nation. IslandJim

For the life of me I cannot figure out why they are putting all that money into another hotel and casino with Texas on the brink of legalizing gambling. 99% of Oklahoma casino customers come from Texas. As soon as casinos open in DFW and Austin the Oklahoma casinos are going to be ghost towns.

Ain't gonna happen in our lifetime.

I would have agreed with you on that until the Dallas Mavericks were sold to the owner of the Las Vegas Sands Casino. Now Cuban and the new owner are putting a lot of pressure on Austin to get it on the ballot. I think we may see it appear on the voting ballots sooner than you think. Getting enough of the Southern Baptists to vote yes is an entirely different challenge. I personally think it depends on how much the Oklahoma Indians tribes are willing to pay in bribe money to the Texas legislator to keep it illegal in Texas. Always follow the money.

And a bunch of degenerate stuff. Oklahoma is a good place for it, Louisiana is even better.
