Here is a filming we did early this month with CBS19 out of Tyler Texas with Meterologist Brett Anthony. He runs a series every Thursday called Hooked on East Texas. I invited him out to find out what it is like to deadstick out in the cold open water in the winter time on Cedar Creek Reservoir. It was a great time. Very good article and video, Brent. You know how to get it done! Visiting son in Austin this morning and enjoyed seeing that video. Can i ask you to post your recent fishing trip up North in minus 30 degrees, here on this forum section? I am curious on how yall did and the experience in that extreme condition and that neck of the woods. TIA.

What are the slimy looking fish?
I've caught hakes offshore in 700 feet of water while fishing for tile fish that look similar to those! They are great eaters too!

They call them Burbot or Eeelpout. Freshwater Cod!
