I am trying to rig my pontoon boat for fishing and wanting to add a heading sensor so I can use the jog feature. The installation says it needs to be a clear line of sight between the heading sensor and the trolling motor . My console is is rounded and doesn’t have a good flat spot to mount it and the boat has seating all around boat. Does anyone have an idea of where I could mount it?

I put mine inside the little glove box mounted in the center console. So not sure about the clear line of sight thing....
