Iām going to Rockport next week during Spring Break, and was wondering if fishing from the Goose Island Pier at night is the same now as it is in the summer. I have had a lot of luck with my kids catching a lot of small fish on shrimp and little speck rigs. Will this still work?

Depends on what the wind decides to do. Which dictates water clarity, trout under lights are year long, they don't care what season it is.

The wind is S/SE, how will that affect Goose Islands pier?

I wouldnt suggest trying Goose Island. Not at all like it used to be. The lights were out on half of the pier, and the lights that are supposed to shine on the water dont come on at all. I had to resort to having the kids fish around the cleaning station to at least catch some hard heads so that they at least caught something. Pretty disappointing.
