Anyone catching any crappie in the shallows around Waco, Belton, or the Leon River?
I've only been running into white bass and gar lately.

Running into sandies isn't a bad problem to have. Sorry, I can't comment on the bodies of water you mentioned. Up here near Dallas, it seems that people are still catching them up shallow in some places.
