That does not happen around here. I would not point pointy objects or bang things in their general direction It's an Arlington thing. The recipe isn't right for that kinda stuff in your neighborhood

For Immediate Release
Friday, March 22, 2024
On March 22, 2024, at approximately 1751 hours, the Pantego Police Department received a 911 call referencing a subject shooting a gun in the area of Shady Valley Apartments located in the **** block of ***** ****** Dr, Pantego, Texas. Upon Officers arrival, the subject had fled the scene in a vehicle, leading Officers on a short pursuit, before returning back to his residence on Shady Valley Dr. At that time, the subject exited his vehicle and ran towards the front of his residence, while wearing body armor and carrying a firearm.
Pantego Police Officers, along with Officers from Dalworthington Gardens Police Department and Arlington Police Department established a perimeter around the residence and started to negotiate with the subject at the front door. The surrounding residences were evacuated for safety precautions. Arlington SWAT team was requested for assistance.
At approximately 2000 hours, after ongoing negotiation with the subject, he surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
The subject was transported to the Pantego Police Department, where he was booked in on several charges. This incident was determined to be an isolated incident and there was no harm to Officers or the public.

I spoke to soon when I got to work I saw firetruck and police surrounded our main plant 100 yds from my building. Roads blocked in the area. This has been going on since I got here 2 hrs ago.
