Is anyone catching any crappie at NM?
I went to Copper Lake last Saturday and 3 crappie caught were on the wall. The other anglers I spoke with said nothing much happening.

Navarro Mills is letting water out at 512 cfs. The fishing was getting really good earlier in the week before they opened the gates, bite has slowed down a lot. I would watch the Corp. of Engineers page and plan a trip when they shut the gates.

25 years ago I would have told you people would have forgotten about Fork by now. Cooper was an awesome bass and crappie lake. IDK what happened. That was the lake that started my love for crappie fishing and got my bass gear collecting dust!

That was the lake that started my love for crappie fishing and got my bass gear collecting dust! Cooper went through serious low water levels for several years. Changed the lake in my opinion.
