had 9lb on senko yesterday,today caught 6.9,6.11,&7.7 on top water this morning….7.6,8.7 & 7.6 this afternoon on c-rig fluke….me & buddy had 70 fish total. my best ever 5 weighed 37lbs12oz….fishing ron speed lodge….will do report snd pictures on picschos and el salto when I get back home….

We will be there in June also and already have booked June of 2025. I’m guessing that the lake is fishing better than usual this year because of the high water it had in 2021/2022 when it was in the path of two hurricanes. In January of 2022 it was pretty wild fishing around gravestones in cemetery #2. Lots of flooded cover protected the 2022 spawn.

Damn Skippy, I was there in February that year after the two hurricanes. The fishing was kinda funky till we broke out the A rigs and crushed them severely.
I'll be there in early may under the wing of Billy Chapman.

Bass, beer, margaritas… all that is great but nothing compares to the cheese nachos and jalapeno poppers after a long day on the water! I love picachos and Salto! Heading to Picachos here in a couple weeks. Was at Salto in early February
