Getting my first refund in years (only 169 bucks). Filed about 6 weeks ago and checked on the IRS site about my refund today. It shows that it has been approved, but it will not be deposited into my bank account for another 5 weeks. That should tell you a lot about our governments current state of affairs. And FJB.

Mine took about 10 days from filing to funding.

JR It was our first refund in years as well, took less than 10 days for ours to get deposited.

That does not sound right... you mailing in a return or something? Are they mailing you a paper check and you mailed in your paper return?
I got a small refund, couple hundy, and it was in my account in exactly 7 days from me hitting submit on my return.
I agree FJB but this is not a JB situation. You are doing something whack. You have to call out FJB at the right time or you loose all credibility when you do say it and its appropriate. Crying wolf type of thing.

Filed with Turbo Tax in February and accepted in 24 hours. Direct deposit to my bank account. Will be deposited on 5-8 at latest.
