For quite a while. Shoulder surgery happens next wed. If all goes well, hope to be back on the water chasing sunnies by August, which would give me two months before they disappear again. Speaking of my little friends, they have not shown up yet on Fayette County Lake. I fished hard in 6 different areas yesterday and only caught one. (overachiever 2) The bass, however, were biting and again ended up with 32. No bigs this trip & didn't hook, break off, or ever even have one on the line. Did, however catch lots of 2-3 pounders. Water temp was 69-71 degrees & the level was full pool. The lake was really busy, and cant imagine what it will be like this 3 day weekend. I plan on living vicariously through you guys & gals (Yesenia) for the next few months, so please post lots of pics & videos...

Hope all goes well with your surgery and subsequent recovery. Maybe we can get you back early with some no cast fishing on some crappie condos at Decker. Will stay in touch. Stay safe.

Going to miss those weekly FCL reports. You will be back out there much sooner than later. Also as mentioned already. Another solid FCL post with some solid fish. coolio

Nice fish and post Steve. I did notice that big fish on the bottom in that Garmin shot. Won't be out there this coming week but planning on the following week.
Fished decker this past Tuesday and caught 16 crappie and a 2 lb. bass sitting in one spot. Was on the road back home after 2 hours, got a little too windy.
Speedy recovery on your shoulder. Stay diligent with that physical therapy. It's the key to getting back out there and ripping those lips.
