I fished Lake Belton Friday from day break to 11:30 AM with Ahoe Trader in his boat. We struggled but finally caught live threadfin shad. Fished main lake and caught 11 keeper hybrids and 30 white bass. Wind came up and made for a long trip back to Rogers Park where we started. Best results came from 32 feet of water. We used a thumper and a splasher to draw fish to the boat. Water temperature was 64 degrees where we caught most of the fish.
