Do you just whip it with the pole until it gives up? No I run a line through the rod, just without a reel.

Tenkara Rod - - - on steroids. I started with Tenkara, but I wanted more flexibility. It is hard to fish in 300 feet deep water with Tenkara.

Nice, I caught a behemoth in the cast net, tore up my net. Took some pics and let it go, as I moved around saw another one slightly smaller that somebody had caught and left it on the bank to die; not sure why a-holes like to do that.
If it's legal ain't no way in hell it's catch and release, it's CATCH & GREASE, except ROUGH (TRASH) Fish
