I have family coming to Arlington in a few weeks. He has a pretty packed schedule, but looking ro get away for a couple of hours to drop a few lines in. Due to a tight schedule, I'd like to find something in or close to north Arlington (think Att stadium area) that we could get to quickly to save more time for fishing. Will be on the bank. Anybody have any suggestions for this area? I know most don't want to give up their spots, but would love some feedback to maximize his experience on limited time. What do you have? Thanks.

Lone Star park has some ponds and a creek worth checking out. Crappie and catfish.
