If you match the spec does the brand matter? Seems to be a lot of marketing jargon on the bottles from one brand to another but the specs are all pretty stringent.

Brand don't matter, spec does. The wrong type from what was or is in there can cause the seals to swell up and lock your brakes.

I've been using Royal Purple for my brakes and PS fluid for yrs.
